You don’t need to sing and dance to be a part of the Met family! What happens on stage is only a part of the story and without the magic that happens behind the scenes, none of it would be possible.
The Met is always looking for volunteers to assist with pre-production, backstage and front of house, so if you want to be a part of the wonderful theatre community let us know and we’ll be in touch.
Here are some of the ways you can make the Met Musicals come to life!
Costumes
Calling all creatives! Costumes and props help the actors play – and look – their part. They are an integral part of the theatre experience. So if you’re a sewer and/or maker, you’d be welcome on our team!
Pre-Production
Ever wanted to build a castle? Or paint a garden? We need set builders and decorators to make the vision a reality! So if you’re a builder, carpenter, painter or just have a pair of willing hands, we have the job for you!
Backstage
Want to be a part of making the magic happen? Sets and props don’t build themselves and costumes don’t just magically change in the blink of an eye. We need backstage helpers to make it all run smoothly!
Front of House
A friendly smile, a helpful word and an organised foyer make the front of house team essential to the theatre experience. If you can spend a few hours helping us out we’d love to hear from you!
